The Alexander Technique was discovered by an Australian Frederick Mathias Alexander 1869-1955 and has been taught in the UK for over 100 years.
The Alexander Technique offers a way to use our bodies in a freer and lighter way that makes tasks easier and less stressful to perform. Many people hold on to an unnecessary level of tension in their muscles, this can be through overwork, emotional reactions or due to injuries. The Alexander Technique offers a method to help release this tension and return ourselves to a better coordinated and balanced state, allowing us to move with more ease and less effort.
